LOL
Jeg klippet ned rettsiden litt før innsying i kantbåndene.
As I mentioned the prototype in my tutorial came out too pointy and policeman-like… Fine for a carneval!
The way you measure etc still holds true but:
today I modified it a bit + made an insert from a jam-box…
Made a panel after measurements as shown in the tut but I rounded the edges for a softer impression.
I was very unhappy about the floppy peak/bill
- that’s why I chose to stiffen it way more!
The plastic insert’s outer curve was drawn using the plate I had chosen for the crown’s measurements, – the inner one was fashioned with the help of a large serving tray.
Naturally I rounded off the sharp ends before inserting it into the cap’s peak/bill! LOL
In addition I reduced the straight side of the peak so that it would be hidden between the outer and inner edges of the cap.

Klem fra meg :)
I'm bragging about you again. I knew it would take no time before you would be teaching everyone how to become professional seamstresses!!!
love you!
hugs,
Sue
My darling Sue! *hugs silly*
You mustn't do that! If a real seamstress should happen to peep in she'd laugh her head off!
But for starting out I'm OK!
*smug smile*
As you know I'm always thrilled to find a comment from you, my sister of the heart!!
And as a siggy-pro' I know you can properly judge my new background and header!!
Love and hugs from Eva Mari <3
